Old Brentwood Acorns’ youth teams endured a weekend of mixed results.
The under-9s were narrowly beaten by Romford and Gidea 14-13, despite captain William Howard scoring nine tries.
The under-14s were beaten away at Epping Upper Clacton after an impressive first-half performance by the home side.
And the under-15s romped to vctory against Wanstead, with Lenny Stannard scoring a hat-trick in a 60-26 victory.
Old Brentwood welcome new players of any age and ability. Training takes place at Ashwells Road each Sunday at 10am, email Simon Pease@obrfc.org
