Strong showing from Brentwood hockey 3rds

Darren Higgins won Brentwood the lead early on with a good shot under the keeper. Brentwood extended the lead to two from a short corner. Higgins’ shot bobbled towards goal and right midfielder Giles Colwill helped it into the net.

The game was wrapped up early in the second half as skipper Matt Wright scored his first of the season.

Brentwood face tougher opposition this Saturday when they meet Southend 2nds at Sawyers Hall College.
