Twilight's Peter Facinelli and 90210 star Jennie Garth have each filed divorce petitions.
Court records show the stars - who announced earlier this month they planned to end their marriage of nearly 11 years - both made filings in Los Angeles.
The pair are parents to three children and are seeking joint custody.
Peter, 38, is best known for playing vampire Carlisle Cullen in the Twilight movies, while Jennie, 39, rose to fame in the 1990s TV series Beverly Hills, 90210 and appeared in the 2008-2010 spin-off 90210.
The couple wed in January 2001.
Jennie - who was also married to musician Daniel Clark from 1994 to 1996 - competed in US show Dancing With The Stars in 2007 with dancer Derek Hough, with Peter applauding her from the audience.
"While we have decided to end our marriage, we both share the same deep love and devotion to our children," their earlier statement had read.
