THIS is the face of a suspected robber who has gone on the run from police after allegedly holding up a Brentwood restaurant.

Jason Dooley, 31, is wanted by detectives in connection with an armed robbery at Mason’s Restaurant, in Ingrave Road, at about 11.30pm on Monday, May 31.

Dooley, whose last known address was Cleeves Avenue, in Pilgrims Hatch, was arrested in connection with the raid and released on bail while detectives continued their investigation.

He was due to answer his bail last Saturday, but did not turn up and has now gone on the run.

The 31-year-old is accused of walking into Mason’s dressed in dark clothing and wearing a balaclava, along with one other man.

The pair are alleged to have walked into an upstairs room and threatened the 45-year-old manageress with a handgun, forcing her to hand over a four-figure sum of cash before fleeing.

Meanwhile, diners in the restaurant were completely unaware of what had happened, until the robbers left.

Police believe Dooley, who is 5ft 9ins tall, of medium build and has an Irish accent, may have fled to Alicante in Spain, where he has contacts.

Police said he has two tattoos on his right arm, one of a Celtic cross and one saying “only God can judge me”.

He also has a small mole on the right cheek.
